CEO, Founder & Owner
Dr. Shawn J. Green is a biotech entrepreneur and nitric oxide expert with 30+ years of experience in biotechnology and C-suite leadership.
- Scientific leader in nitric oxide, with 100+ published scientific papers and 30+ issued or filed patents.
- President of MTEC, a biomedical technology consortium working with government, industry, academia, and the military to accelerate medical innovation.
- Founded and co-founded multiple public & private biotechnology & medical device companies, including Berkeley Life, MaxCyte, EntreMed, among other life science companies.
- Holds a PhD and MBA from Georgetown University.
Juliana G. Kumar, MS & CPA
Chief Operating Officer
Juliana is a former biotech investor and entrepreneur with 12+ years of experience across venture capital, M&A, and life sciences.
- Held Principal-level roles at multiple funds, investing in 20+ companies across biotech, food-tech, and ag-tech, with 4+ exits.
- Co-founded Berkeley Test and co-authored patents related to nitric oxide monitoring. Co-authored a peer-reviewed clinical publication related to nitric oxide in Nature.
- Holds a BA in Biology from UC Berkeley and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Virginia.
William Sotka, MS

William R. Sotka is a 20+ year healthcare sales veteran with extensive experience in cardiovascular diagnostics and healthcare technology.
- He brings experience working with healthcare professionals and translating scientific innovations into practical clinical applications.
- Author in OralHealth, Prebiotic nitrate lozenge & gum: A microbiome driven oral biologic, highlighting the importance of a balanced oral ecosystem.

Sima Kulkarni, JD & MS
Lead, IP Counsel
Sima Kulkarni is an intellectual property attorney with extensive experience in biotech, life sciences, and emerging technologies.
- Special Counsel at Duane Morris and previously Of Counsel at DLA Piper.
- Former IP Counsel at King & Spalding and senior patent counsel in the life sciences sector.
- Expert on patent and trademark strategy, prosecution, licensing, and IP portfolio development.
